Make note of the uniform changes for the 2026-2027 school year. Athletic style/ spandex skirts are not allowed. Only skirts that are khaki and navy are permissible and must follow length guidelines. Pants cannot have cargo pockets, and all pants 1-8 must have belt loops and cannot be “pull-on” pants.

Today, educators from across Vermilion Parish gathered for the 2nd Annual EdTech Vermilion Conference to collaborate, learn, and explore innovative ways to enhance teaching and learning.

At FIEB, we believe that when educators continue to grow, our students reap the benefits. We are proud of our teachers and staff for investing in new ideas, strengthening their skills, and embracing opportunities that help our Eagles soar even higher.

Because of our amazing our teachers, students, and staff’s teamwork and determination, 91% of our K–2 students achieved Benchmark on DIBELS…The highest percentage in Vermilion Parish!

This achievement belongs to our entire Eagle Family! Thank you to our dedicated teachers for their commitment to excellence, our supportive parents for partnering with us every step of the way, and our amazing students for working hard and giving their best each day.

🦅💙 After an inspiring few days at the Teacher Leader Summit in New Orleans, our FIEB teachers are returning with new ideas, fresh perspectives, and excitement for the year ahead!
