🐝Mrs. Vaught’s first grade class took a multimodal approach during the ELA block. Students used shaving cream to review this week’s spelling patterns.

Flashback to Flashlight Friday🐝🔦 Mrs. Bush’s 2nd grade class enjoyed reading in their favorite spot and with a flashlight!

🐝Custodian Appreciation Day🐝 AES would like to thank Mr. Jarvis Parks and Mr. Austin Blackshear for their daily commitment. Our heroes were recognized on yesterday with a token of appreciation and certificate. Thank you for always ensuring that our school is clean and our students are safe.

Show Up! Attendance Matters at Abbeville Elementary School! Showing up on time every day is important for student success and learning growth. Missing only two days of school per month can make it hard for students to catch up, lead to lower academic skills in reading and math, and impact social relationships. When students are present, they are able to learn more, earn better grades, and stay on track for graduation and future success.
