Good morning everyone,
Due to the possibility of severe weather, tomorrow's Ag Safety Day Camp has been CANCELLED. The safety of our 4-H'ers and their families is our top priority, and we do not want anyone traveling in potentially hazardous conditions during drop-off or pick-up times.
The good news is that we will incorporate some of our Ag Safety activities and lessons into upcoming Summer Day Camps, so participants will still have the opportunity to learn about important agricultural safety topics.
Thank you for your continued support of Henry County Alabama 4-H. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
We hope to see everyone next week at our next Summer Day Camp on Thursday, June 25!
Stay safe,
Henry County Alabama 4-H Team

🍉Chef Chelsea Brings Farm Fresh Flavor to Landmark Park
DOTHAN, Ala. — Landmark Park’s Farm to Table Dinner will bring Alabama-grown flavor to the table on June 20.
The dinner will feature Chef Chelsea Gieselmann, creator of SouthrnGrits Kitchen. Gieselmann is known for highlighting Alabama’s agricultural heritage through locally inspired dishes.
She has also received national recognition from Food Network’s “Outchef’d” and has been a finalist multiple times in the World Food Championships.
Gieselmann told WDNews that farm-to-table cooking is about more than preparing a meal.
"Farm to table cooking is something I'm truly passionate about," Gieselmann said. "Not only does it support the hardworking local farmers in our area, but it also gives me the opportunity to show folks just how many incredible ways there are to enjoy the fresh products grown right here in our community. And being able to help raise money for Landmark Park while doing something I love makes it even more special!"
Guests will enjoy a curated summer menu featuring Alabama favorites, including fresh watermelon, sweet corn, grilled flank steak and peach pudding.
Organizers say each course is designed to celebrate local farmers, fresh ingredients and the traditions that make Alabama agriculture special.
The Farm to Table Dinner will be held June 20 at Landmark Park in Dothan. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m.
Seats are limited, and the event is expected to sell out. Organizers encourage those interested in attending to purchase tickets early.

We celebrated National Herb Day yesterday at our annual Garden to Glass Herb Workshop. It was the perfect afternoon of exploring the world of herbs, from growing in the garden to using them in the kitchen! Check out the ACES Calendar for future upcoming workshops.
