6th grade students wrote and created their own God’s Work of Creation stories and this week, they had the sweetest audience!

They shared their stories with the PreK and Kindergarten students, reminding them that creation is a gift from God and that all God created is good.

What a beautiful way to put faith into action! The older students used their gifts to teach, share, and inspire our littlest eagles! 🦅

Mrs. Victoria’s Art students celebrated Dot Day on September 15th! Each class listened to the story “The Dot” by Peter Reynolds and created their own dot!

Mrs. Sarah Blakey’s first grade students were so proud of Coach Gidge after she was inducted into the LHSAA Hall of Fame! When she received her award last week, they immediately wanted her autograph.

Coach Gidge was so happy to visit with each of them this morning and sign their folders!

This morning, we celebrated the freshmen together with Father Barzare. Each freshman received a Bible as a special reminder to keep God’s Word close and allow it to guide them throughout their high school journey.

Father Barzare spoke to our students about the importance of examining our conscience often and gave us a simple acronym to help us reflect each day:

T • Thankfulness
Be thankful for all that God blesses you with.

R • Repent
Always ask God for forgiveness.

I • Intentions
Pray for specific intentions in your life.

P • Praise
Always praise God and give glory to Him.

What a beautiful reminder for our students to make prayer and reflection a daily part of their lives. 🦅

This morning, the Lower School students celebrated Mass with Father Albert. He reminded us that being rich in love is one of the greatest things we can be in life. We are called to always will the good of the other. 🦅

Yesterday, we were blessed to welcome Catholic speaker, Jason Evert from the Chastity Project to speak with our 7th through 12th grade students. He shared an important message about knowing our worth, respecting ourselves, and recognizing the value God has given each of us.

Jason was amazing, and we are so grateful our students had the opportunity to hear his message and be encouraged to live with confidence, purpose, and self respect. 🦅
