We are still feeling inspired after our recent Vermilion Early Childhood Network stakeholder training! A huge thank you to Dawn Thibodeaux and Sam Turner from New York Life Insurance Company for leading an empowering session titled, "Life in Business."

Our partners and stakeholders gained invaluable insights into:

🌟 What a Wonderful Saturday of Learning! 🌟

Today, we had the pleasure of collaborating with Volunteers of America South Central Louisiana to host an engaging and inspiring training for the incredible early childhood educators in our network! 🍎✨

From meaningful discussions to hands-on strategies, the day was filled with collaboration, reflection, and a shared commitment to supporting young learners. It’s always powerful to come together with passionate educators who are dedicated to making a difference every single day.

A huge thank you to everyone who took time out of their weekend to invest in their professional growth—we appreciate your dedication and energy!

Learning in action - right here in our community! 💙

Vermilion Early Childhood staff, Delia Girouard and Michelle Hunt, recently presented to Erath High School FACS students, covering key milestones from birth to age 5. Students didn’t just listen—they got involved with fun, hands-on activities that brought early learning to life!

Working in teams, students created a “Human Timeline” by sequencing milestones from birth to age 5. They also participated in hands-on exploration of educational materials, grouping each item by the age level it is designed for.
