Mrs. Emily's lesson on perseverance and working hard!! Making lemonade!! 🍋

Students had to follow rules and expectations to earn a starbuck, use their starbuck to buy lemons so that they could make and enjoy their own lemonade.
Students squeezed lemons, measured sugar and water, stirred it all together, and finally got to enjoy their hard earned lemonade. 🥤

Happy International Dot Day!

Today in Ms. Amelia & Ms. Norma’s Pre-K Class, we celebrated all things DOTS! 🔴

🟠We read “The Dot.”
🟡Traced the first letter of our names with dot stickers.
🟢Sorted and counted M&Ms by color
Rolled, counted, and dotted our way to the finish line.
🔵Used Dot candies to build shapes.

So much learning, counting, creating, and FUN all in one DOT-astic day! 🟣

International Dot Day is celebrated globally on September 15th to encourage people of all ages to unlock their creativity, courage, and collaboration! 🖍️ 🎨 ✏️

Dot Day is inspired by the famous children's book “The Dot,” by Peter H. Reynolds. It tells the story of a doubting student named Vashti who is told by her teacher to "make her mark" by drawing a simple dot. 🟠
