💐💕 Happy Grandparents Day! 💕💐

We had such a wonderful time celebrating our amazing Grandparents today at Country Bears Head Start! 🐻❤️

Our children loved having their grandparents join us for a special morning filled with love, laughter, and memories. 🥰 Together, the children and their grandparents got creative and made their very own wind chimes 🎶🌈 — a special keepsake to remember our day together!

📚 We also had one of our wonderful grandparents read a book to the class, making story time extra special! ❤️

Thank you to all of the grandparents who took time out of their day to celebrate with us. Your love, support, and presence mean so much to our little ones! 💕👵👴

📚🍪 From Story Time to Yummy Time! 🍪📚

Our little learners had so much fun with our book Jalapeño Bagels! 🥯🌶️ After reading the story together, we brought a little piece of the book to life by making our very own Chango Bars! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

The children loved helping make this delicious treat—and, of course, the BEST part was getting to taste it! 😋❤️

Activities like this make reading extra special by giving our children a fun, hands-on experience that connects a story to the real world. 📖✨

A good book + little chefs + a delicious treat = a GREAT day! 🐻💕

👮‍♂️📬💙 Community Helper & Father Project Day! 💙📬👮‍♂️

What a wonderful day of learning, family, and community at Country Bears Head Start! 🐻❤️

We want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to the Kaplan Police Department and Kaplan Post Office for taking time out of their day to visit our children and teach them about the important jobs they do in our community. 🚔👮‍♂️📫📦 The children loved getting to learn more about our amazing community helpers!

We also want to give a very special THANK YOU to all of our fathers and father figures who took time out of their day to join us and experience Community Helper Day alongside their child. 💙 Seeing our children learning, exploring, and making special memories with their dads made the day even more meaningful!

We are so thankful for the wonderful families and community helpers who support our little learners! 🥰

In observation of Dot Day (an event that encourages students to build confidence, embrace creativity, and "make their mark" on the world), students in Mrs. Jennifer and Ms. Victorias class read the book “The Dot by Peter Reynolds. The completed 2 projects that embraced their creativity, build their confidence, and made their mark). Students had a group discussion about how we can take a dot and turn it into a sun, moon, skateboard, and other things.

Mrs. Jennifer and Mrs. Victoria class had a great 1st week of school. The students adjusted well and enjoyed learning and playing with all their classmates.

The children in Ms. Karen and Ms. Candace class were introduced to a circle and the color red. After their lesson they had fun tearing their red paper and gluing to a white circle to create a red circle.

🎯 Learning Through Play in Mrs. Shanna & Mrs. Macy’s Class! 💕🐻
Our kiddos had so much fun enjoying a bean bag game today! 🫘🎉 There were lots of smiles, giggles, cheering, and excitement as everyone took turns and joined in the fun.
The best part? While they were playing, they were also practicing hand-eye coordination, gross motor skills, taking turns, following directions, and being good friends! 🌟
We love watching our little learners play, learn, and grow together! ❤️
