Good morning everyone,
Due to the possibility of severe weather, tomorrow's Ag Safety Day Camp has been CANCELLED. The safety of our 4-H'ers and their families is our top priority, and we do not want anyone traveling in potentially hazardous conditions during drop-off or pick-up times.
The good news is that we will incorporate some of our Ag Safety activities and lessons into upcoming Summer Day Camps, so participants will still have the opportunity to learn about important agricultural safety topics.
Thank you for your continued support of Henry County Alabama 4-H. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
We hope to see everyone next week at our next Summer Day Camp on Thursday, June 25!
Stay safe,
Henry County Alabama 4-H Team

Last night was truly special. ❤️
We held our final 4-H Youth Council and Adult Advisory Board meeting of the school year, and it was a night filled with celebration, gratitude, fellowship, and memories. We celebrated one of our senior graduates, Molly Cox, and recognized her for her years of dedication and leadership. We also witnessed a meaningful leadership transition as Aaliyah Sanders stepped down as President due to graduation and officially passed the torch to Lane Hodges, who previously served as Vice President.
After the pledges, honoring Molly with her awards, and Lane blessing the meal, Mrs. Kim and Mrs. Suzanne completely surprised me with a certificate and gift cards. As Kim the certificate was being read, my heart became so full that a few tears found their way out. It was a humbling reminder of how blessed I am to be surrounded by such amazing people.
I cannot thank our Henry County Adult Advisory Board enough for their hard work, dedication, and unwavering support. Your commitment to making our community better and helping our 4-H program thrive does not go unnoticed.
To our Youth Council members, thank you for being the leadership team that helps make this program so successful. Over the years, you have consistently shown up with servant hearts, stepped in wherever needed, and represented 4-H with pride. Your love and support for our program and our community mean more than you know. I am incredibly grateful for each of you and for the team we have built together—and continue to build.
To my Youth Council Committee, my challenge to you for the upcoming school year is simple: invite a friend to join Youth Council. Let’s continue growing our leadership team, serving our community, and living out our 4-H motto: “To Make the Best Better.”
Of course, no meeting would be complete without great food, wonderful fellowship, discussions about upcoming events, and a few fun games to keep everyone laughing.
What a perfect way to close out the 2025-2026 school year. I am excited to see what the 2026-2027 year has in store for us!
Thank you all for being part of this journey. 💚🍀
