Uganda Learns Now My first trip to Uganda in 2010, I saw many children not attending school, due to poverty and was excited to build them a 3 room school in a village.

My name is Tracey Price and I had the fortunate opportunity to visit Uganda in April 2010. Immediately I fell in love with the culture, children and the country. It was not surprising to see poverty in a place such as Africa, but despite what little these people have, they are happy with much love to give. What was frustrating to see was how inaccessible education was to many of the children I met

. It has become my mission to provide education through Uganda Learns Now. A school has been opened in the village of Bugongo, but my goal is to continue expanding in order to positively affect more of Uganda's children.
