Lake Mburo senior Sec School Lake Mburo Secondary is a Secondary School in Uganda.The School is a Government Sponsored School. Located in Kanyaryeru Subcounty, Kiruhura district.

The School is found in Kiruhura District, Nyabushozi County and in Kanyaryeru Sub-County. LAKE MBURO SECONDARY SCHOOL


Lake Mburo SS is a government aided mixed secondary School, O& A level teaching both arts and sciences. The school was started by the government in 1991 as part of resettlement program for people that were affected by the 1981-1986 bush war in luwero triangle that herald the NRA

government into power. After the bush war, 37 square miles of land was gazetted from Lake Mburo National Park to resettle people that were affected, so as one of the social amenities, a school had to be built hence the formation of Lake Mburo SS to educate their children��

Initially, students have been studying Senior Five and Six in two years’ time before joining universities.
According to the proposed amendments in the A-Level curriculum, the tenure for A-Level will be a minimum of two years and maximum of five years to enhance inclusivity.
