Maria Girls Centenary Secondary School is a girls school that was started by Rev. Vincent Tumwebaze with an aim of Educating a Girl child to be a better responsible citizen of Uganda. Maria Girls is located in Rubirizi District 3km from Queen Elizabeth National Park in the western Region of Uganda. It is located in a quiet place to ensure that girls can be alone and focus on maximizing their poten

tials. The Director wanted to improve the education of a girl child in Uganda at large and in this part of the country in particular. The school saves them the harsh treatment and conditions which the girls are experiencing in the secular society.
