Integrity in the Law Journal

Integrity in the Law Journal IJL is a student run Law Journal dealing with contemporary and fundamental Legal issues in Uganda and in the Global Arena with a focus on integrity.

The Integrity in Law Journal is a student-edited Journal of interdisciplinary studies on Integrity in the Law. It is a purely online journal based at and electronically published from the Uganda Christian University Faculty of Law at Mukono. The Journal seeks to present an intellectual debate bearing upon integrity in matters pertaining to the law from a social, economic and political perspective.

Published bi-annually in June and December, the Journal solicits articles, notes and comments covering judicial decisions, legislative developments, and empirical research on Integrity in the Ugandan legal system, public policy studies and theoretical analysis from related fields of inquiry. We welcome submissions from academics, practitioners, policymakers and students from within the legal community, as well as other professions and have a strong preference for articles that are not descriptive but prescriptive and argumentatively focused.
