Bright Parents' Nursery and Primary school-Kisowera. Mukono district Bright Parents' Nursery and Primary School Kisowera is a school aiming at supporting vulnerable families and children to achieve education and skills.

The school started as a mentoring home in 1999 for underprivileged children who did not have the opportunity to go to formal schools for education and it was by this time called HAPPY HOME. Between 1999 to 2002 HAPPY HOME was only giving bible readings, skills and counseling to children and youths. Later in December 2001, we realized a need for formal education for the younger children who had j

oined us. Determination was taken to start a primary school and some parents of the community were contacted to bring children in the newly established school so that the little they can pay can help to run the school as also the needy do benefit under a slogan that (Ugandans Helping fellow Ugandans)
Some Parents liked the idea and others did not take it immediately. On the 2nd February 2002 the school started operating with 48 children. The Name Bright Parents' over took the first name Happy Home just because of the few Parents' who liked the idea of starting up a school through which Ugandans can help fellow Ugandans and such parents were bright resulting the Name Bright Parents' Junior School
