All three radiations produce ionisatin and are able to pe*****te matter. Alpha and beta particles are deflected in opposite directions (in previous post), meaning that they have opposite charges.
Each of these radiations has got properties. Can you identify properties of each of the radiations?
Remember we can interact on a phone call or WhatsApp on +256752319772. Those around Mukono and it's neighborhood, we can organise a physical interaction.
We meet again.

Good afternoon dear friends.
Let's begin on this note: Any physical or chemical process that doesn't involve the nucleus has no effect on radioactivity of an atom.
Can you identify such processes?
TYPES OF RADIATIONS:
There are basically three radiations that may be emitted when a substance undergoes radioactivity:
Alpha particles
Beta particles and
Gamma rays.

Good morning friends. Thanks for the work weldone.
It's my prayer that you recommend your friends to like and follow my page. Your secondary school-age going children can as well visit this page.

RADIOACTIVITY
Radioactivity is the emission of radiations by a radioactive material/substance.
OR
Radioactivity is the spontaneous disintegration of an unstable nucleus of an atom.
A radioactive substance is one which emits ionising particles or radiations due to unstable nuclei of its atoms.
Examples include:polium(Po), Radium(Ra), Radon (Rn), Thorium (Th).
Can you identify more examples?
Elements with atomic number greater than 82 are liable to be radioactive substance.

ISOTOPES
Different atoms of the same element which have the same number of protons but different mass numbers due different number of some of the elements that show isotopy include chlorine and hydrogen.
Can you identify other elements that show isotopy and identify their isotopes?
You as well reach me on Whatsapp on+256752319772

Can everyone of try this question?!
We already know the nuclide notation. Identify any examples of nuclides that you may know.
