Eijuka Obed, the ambitious 20-year-old student of Kamwezi High School in Rukiga District, has gained extensive knowledge about computers through online research,keyboard and mouse usage. As part of the new curriculum, he plans to use his skills for academic research and to educate fellow students about computer literacy. He plans to collaborate with the administration, students' council, and ICT instructors to develop basic digital skills training for students from all backgrounds and ages. Eijuka also hopes to include more advanced classes like web design, publishing, and cloud computing in the program. She thanks the Maendeleo Foundation and MTN Uganda for this opportunity.

Remembering Eric Morrow - A Co-founder of Maendeleo Foundation and a passionate believer in Social Justice

Today, we honor the memory of Eric Morrow, the beloved co-founder of Maendeleo Foundation, who passed away six years ago. Eric was a visionary who merged his love for computers with his passion for social justice. He was very creative, curious and passionate about sharing his love for computers with teachers and children in Uganda.

The Mobile Solar Computer Classroom one of the projects he worked on continues to empower countless lives in Uganda.

Eric's vision and tireless efforts have impacted our community, and we are forever grateful for the passion and dedication he brought to the Maendeleo family. His legacy continues to inspire our team as we strive to carry on his mission of using technology to advance social justice and equality.

Today, we remember Eric's wit, kindness, and unwavering commitment to creating a better world..
