Let’s humble ourselves and Pray
Evening Bible verse
2 Thessalonians 3:1-5

Pray for Us

[1] Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may speed ahead and be honored, as happened among you, [2] and that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men. For not all have faith. [3] But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one. [4] And we have confidence in the Lord about you, that you are doing and will do the things that we command. [5] May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ.

Evening prayer
Dear merciful and loving Father,
We come before You this evening with thankful hearts. Thank You for Your love, protection, provision, and faithfulness throughout this day. Thank You for bringing us safely to the end of another day.
Lord, as Your Word says in 2 Thessalonians 3:1, we pray that the Word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honoured. Use us and our family to be witnesses of Your love and truth. Open doors for the Gospel, and let many people come to know and believe in Jesus Christ. Our Heavenly Father, according to Your Word, deliver us from wicked and evil people, for not everyone has faith. Protect our family from every plan of the enemy, from danger, accidents, sickness, violence, and every form of evil. Surround our home with Your divine protection.
Faithful Lord, establish us and guard us from the evil one. Strengthen our faith when we are weak. Help us to remain firm in Your Word and obedient to Your commands. Give every member of this family the grace to trust You in every situation. Dear Lord, direct our hearts into the love of God and the steadfastness of Christ. Remove bitterness, anger, fear, division, and unforgiveness from our family. Fill our home with love, peace, unity, patience, and joy.
As we prepare to rest tonight, we commit ourselves into Your hands. Watch over us throughout the night and grant us peaceful sleep. Let us wake up tomorrow refreshed, strengthened, and ready to serve You. We declare that the Lord is faithful, and He will establish us and guard us from the evil one.
We pray all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen. 🙏

Evening Bible Verse

2 Peter 3:14-18

Final Words
[14] Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these, be diligent to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace. [15] And count the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him, [16] as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures. [17] You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability. [18] But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

Evening Prayer
Dear Merciful and Gracious Father, We come before You this evening with humble and thankful hearts. Thank You for carrying us through this day, for Your protection, provision, and unfailing love toward our family.
Lord, Your Word in 2 Peter 3:14–18 calls us to live in peace, holiness, and righteousness as we wait for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Help us not to be distracted by the things of this world, but to remain steadfast in faith and grow daily in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Father, make our family a place of peace, love, forgiveness, and godliness. Guard our hearts from sin, pride, bitterness, and anything that may separate us from You. Give us wisdom to understand Your Word and strength to put it into practice.
Protect every member of our family tonight. Watch over our homes, our work, our studies, our relationships, and everything You have entrusted to us. Give us peaceful sleep and renew our strength for tomorrow.
May we continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Keep us faithful until the day of His coming.
To Him be glory both now and forevermore. Amen.🙏

Evening Bible Verse
Hosea 14:1-4

A Plea to Return to the LORD

[1] Return, O Israel, to the LORD your God,
for you have stumbled because of your iniquity.
[2] Take with you words
and return to the LORD;
say to him,
“Take away all iniquity;
accept what is good,
and we will pay with bulls
the vows of our lips.
[3] Assyria shall not save us;
we will not ride on horses;
and we will say no more, ‘Our God,’
to the work of our hands.
In you the orphan finds mercy.”

[4] I will heal their apostasy;
I will love them freely,
for my anger has turned from them.

Evening Prayer
Dear Merciful Heavenly Father, we come before You this evening with humble hearts. Your Word calls us to return to You, and today we repent of our sins and ask for Your mercy. Forgive us for every wrong thought, word, and deed. Heal our backsliding and draw us closer to You. Let Your unfailing love fill our home with peace, joy, and unity. Restore our faith, strengthen our hearts, and help us to walk in obedience to Your will. Protect every member of our family through this night and grant us restful sleep. We surrender our lives into Your hands, trusting in Your love and grace. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Evening Bible Verse
Malachi 3:8-11

[8] Will man rob God? Yet you are robbing me. But you say, ‘How have we robbed you?’ In your tithes and contributions. [9] You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing me, the whole nation of you. [10] Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need. [11] I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of your soil, and your vine in the field shall not fail to bear, says the LORD of hosts.

Evening Prayer
Dear Merciful Heavenly Father, we thank You for bringing our family safely to the end of this day. Thank You for Your provision, protection, and unfailing love.
Lord, forgive us for the times we have failed to honour You with what You have entrusted to us. Teach us to be faithful, generous, and obedient in giving. Help us to trust You even when our resources seem small. According to Your promise in Malachi 3:10–11, open the windows of heaven over our family. Provide for our needs, bless the work of our hands, protect our home from every destructive force, and give us wisdom to manage what You provide.
May our family never lack the necessities of life. Make us a blessing to others, and help us remember that all we have belongs to You. We declare that You are our Provider, our Protector, and our Source. Increase our faith and teach us to depend on You in every circumstance.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Morning Bible Verse
Jonah 3:1-5

Jonah Goes to Nineveh

[1] Then the word of the LORD came to Jonah the second time, saying, [2] “Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and call out against it the message that I tell you.” [3] So Jonah arose and went to Nineveh, according to the word of the LORD. Now Nineveh was an exceedingly great city, three days’ journey in breadth. [4] Jonah began to go into the city, going a day’s journey. And he called out, “Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown!” [5] And the people of Nineveh believed God. They called for a fast and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them to the least of them.

Morning Prayer
Dear Merciful Heavenly Father,
we thank You this morning for the gift of life and for bringing our family safely into a new day. We are grateful that, just as You called Jonah a second time, You are also a God of mercy who gives us opportunities to obey You and fulfill Your purpose.
Lord, help us to arise and go wherever You send us. Give us willing hearts to obey Your Word, even when the task seems difficult or uncomfortable. Remove fear, disobedience, laziness, and excuses from our hearts.
Father, let Your Word guide every member of our family today. May our words, actions, work, studies, and relationships bring glory to Your name. Use us to bring encouragement, hope, repentance, and transformation to those around us. Just as the people of Nineveh believed Your message and turned to You, help our family to believe Your Word and respond to it with obedience. Give us humble hearts that are ready to change whenever You correct us.
Bless our children, our work, our plans, our relationships, and everything we shall do today. Protect us from evil and lead us in Your ways.
In Jesus Christ’s mighty name we pray. Amen. 🙏

Evening Bible Verse
Exodus 15:6-9
[6] Your right hand, O LORD, glorious in power,
your right hand, O LORD, shatters the enemy.
[7] In the greatness of your majesty you overthrow your adversaries; you send out your fury; it consumes them like stubble.
[8] At the blast of your nostrils the waters piled up; the floods stood up in a heap; the deeps congealed in the heart of the sea.
[9] The enemy said, ‘I will pursue, I will overtake,
I will divide the spoil, my desire shall have its fill of them.
I will draw my sword; my hand shall destroy them.’

Evening Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
As this day comes to an end, I lift my heart in gratitude before You. Your mighty right hand has sustained me, protected me, and fought battles that I could not see. You are glorious in power, holy in all Your ways, and faithful to Your promises. Lord, just as You defeated the enemies of Israel, I ask You to defeat every force that rises against my life, my family, my faith, and my purpose. Let every plan of the enemy be broken by Your mighty hand. Grant me peace as I rest tonight, knowing that You are my Defender and my Deliverer.
Forgive my sins, cleanse my heart, and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Let Your presence surround my home with divine protection. May no evil come near me, and may I wake tomorrow strengthened, refreshed, and ready to walk in Your will. There is none like You, O Lord. You alone are worthy of all honor, praise, and glory forever.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray.
Amen.

Morning Bible Verse
2 Kings 23:21-24

Josiah Restores the Passover

[21] And the king commanded all the people, “Keep the Passover to the LORD your God, as it is written in this Book of the Covenant.” [22] For no such Passover had been kept since the days of the judges who judged Israel, or during all the days of the kings of Israel or of the kings of Judah. [23] But in the eighteenth year of King Josiah this Passover was kept to the LORD in Jerusalem.
[24] Moreover, Josiah put away the mediums and the necromancers and the household gods and the idols and all the abominations that were seen in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem, that he might establish the words of the law that were written in the book that Hilkiah the priest found in the house of the LORD.

Morning Prayer
Dear Merciful and Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of a new day. We praise You because You are holy, faithful, and worthy of our worship. As we gather as a family this morning, cleanse our hearts and draw us closer to You. Help us to walk in obedience to Your Word and to seek You above all else. Lord God Almighty, thank You for Your mercy and unfailing love. Just as King Josiah led the people back to true worship, help us to return to You with all our hearts. Remove every idol from our lives anything that competes with our devotion to You. Fill our home with Your peace, wisdom, and righteousness. Bless every member of our family today. Grant us good health, protection, favor, and strength. Guide our words, thoughts, and actions so that they may bring glory to Your name. Help us to obey Your Word faithfully and to walk in humility before You. May Your Holy Spirit lead us throughout this day. Keep us from evil and establish us in Your truth. We commit our plans, work, studies, and ministry into Your hands. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray.
Amen.

Morning Bible Verse
Exodus 17:8-13

Israel Defeats Amalek
[8] Then Amalek came and fought with Israel at Rephidim. [9] So Moses said to Joshua, “Choose for us men, and go out and fight with Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the staff of God in my hand.” [10] So Joshua did as Moses told him, and fought with Amalek, while Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. [11] Whenever Moses held up his hand, Israel prevailed, and whenever he lowered his hand, Amalek prevailed. [12] But Moses’ hands grew weary, so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it, while Aaron and Hur held up his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side. So his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. [13] And Joshua overwhelmed Amalek and his people with the sword.

Morning Prayer

Dear our Almighty Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of this new morning. Thank You for watching over us through the night and bringing us safely into a new day. We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that You are our strength, our refuge, and our defender. Lord, as Israel faced the Amalekites, they discovered that victory did not come merely through human strength but through dependence on You. As Moses lifted up his hands in prayer, You gave Your people victory. Today, we also lift our hearts and lives to You. Fight every battle that stands before us whether spiritual, physical, financial, emotional, or family-related. Father, strengthen us when we grow weary. Surround us with faithful people, like Aaron and Hur, who will encourage and support us in times of weakness. Help us never to depend on our own abilities but always to trust in Your mighty power. Lord Jesus, go before each member of our family today. Protect us from danger, sickness, accidents, temptation, and every plan of the enemy. Grant us wisdom in every decision, grace in every conversation, and favor wherever we go. May our work glorify You, and may our words reflect Your love. We especially pray for those who are discouraged, burdened, or unwell. Renew their strength and remind them that You are the God who gives victory to those who trust in You. Teach us to remain faithful in prayer, knowing that when we seek You, You hear us and work on our behalf. May our family remain united, steadfast in faith, and committed to serving You all the days of our lives. We declare that the battles of this day belong to the Lord, and through Christ we are more than conquerors. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray and believe.
Amen.
