Mbale School for the Deaf wishes the public a peaceful Friday and takes this opportunity to commend our students for their outstanding intelligence, discipline, and talent. Our learners are a testament that every child, regardless of hearing ability, can excel when given the right support.

We therefore encourage all parents and guardians with deaf or hard-of-hearing children to bring them to Mbale School for the Deaf for quality education and skills development.

We offer competent teachers, sign language interpreters, vocational programs, and a safe learning environment.

The handover ceremony of the Board of Governors (BOG) at Mbale School for the Deaf took place today, with Commissioner Special Needs Secondary and District Education Officer in attendance. Mr. Wafuba, the outgoing chairman, handed over to Mr. Nkwangu Robert, who expressed gratitude to the outgoing members for their tireless efforts and pledged to work hard to improve the school's status .

The event highlighted the school's commitment to providing quality education to students with special needs. However, efforts are being made to ensure the school provides a supportive environment for its students .

Dear staff, students, and alumni,
I want to extend my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for your unwavering support and presence during the sendoff of our beloved former student who tragically passed away after completing her S4 final exams.

Your solidarity and compassion have brought comfort to the family and friends of the deceased during this incredibly difficult time. The outpouring of love and respect is a testament to the strong bonds within our school community.

May we continue to support one another and celebrate the life and legacy of our dear student Nabwire Immaculate. May her memory inspire us to live with purpose, kindness, and resilience.
