1999-2002 CLASS REUNION | 6TH EDITION

On 4th July 2026, the Class of 1999โ€“2002 came together in Masindi for the sixth edition of their annual class reunion, hosted at Murchison Close Motel in Katama Cell, a facility proudly owned by one of their own.

The day's activities commenced with an insightful exposure visit to the farm of fellow Old Boy and Masindi Chapter Chairman, Kunihira Denis, who took members through practical demonstrations in poultry, coffee, and sugarcane farming. The visit highlighted the potential of agriculture as a sustainable and profitable enterprise while promoting knowledge sharing, networking, and investment among alumni.

Members later returned to the reunion venue for their Annual General Meeting where they reviewed the progress made over the past year and agreed on several key resolutions aimed at strengthening the cohort and its contribution to the wider alumni fraternity.

Key resolutions from the AGM included:

๐Ÿ”น Aligning all cohort projects with the main KASSOBA agenda to maximize impact, coordination, and support.

๐Ÿ”น Operationalizing a Cohort Fund to finance activities such as mentorship programmes, welfare initiatives, and other development projects.

๐Ÿ”น Developing and operationalizing a Cohort Constitution to provide clear guidance on leadership, meetings, governance, and decision-making.

๐Ÿ”น Proposal for a Reward Scheme to recognize outstanding members and staff of Kabalega SS but subject to guidance and approval by KASSOBA.

The reunion was a perfect blend of learning, networking, planning, and sharing light moments.
