A girl child education and advocacy CBO in Masaka is looking for a Mentor to work on part time basis
Job Description
1.To be a mentor to vulnerable girls aged between 12 to 20 years.
2.Offer beneficiaries guidance and support with planned income generating businesses and other activities.
3.Help beneficiaries acquire literacy and numeracy skills to a P7 level,as well as other necessary knowledge/skills such as financial literacy,budgeting,entrepreneurship,social studies.
4.Guide and monitor beneficiaries as they re-enter formal schooling or vocational education.
5.To assess and register new beneficiaries in an efficient and timely manner.
Personal Qualities
Punctuality,enthusiasm, self-drive,excellent mentoring and counselling skills, aware of the issues the girl child commonly faces in Uganda.
Qualifications
1.Diploma in Education,SWASA,Development Studies or related field.
2.A former or current teacher
3.A mature female aged above 25 years
4.Computer literacy is a must.
5.Possesses financial,business,budgeting skills.
6.To work on part time basis.
