LEADERSHIP APPOINTMENT

Equator University of Science and Technology ( EQUATOR UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Ivan Muhwezi as the Quality Assurance Officer.

Mr. Muhwezi previously served as the Dean of Students, where he contributed to strengthening student welfare, engagement, and the overall student experience.

His appointment to the Quality Assurance Office marks a new chapter in his service to the University, bringing his experience and commitment to institutional excellence into a role focused on quality improvement, standards, accountability, and continuous enhancement of academic and administrative processes.

APPOINTMENT !!!

Equator University of Science and Technology (EQUSaT) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Stephen Ssebaggala as the Deputy Vice Chancellor – Academic Affairs.

Dr. Ssebaggala brings to this leadership role a wealth of experience as a Member/Staff Representative, Head of the Department of Anatomy, and Senior Orthopaedic Consultant.

His appointment marks an important step in strengthening academic leadership, quality assurance, teaching and learning, research, and innovation at EQUSaT. In his new role, he will contribute to advancing academic excellence and creating an environment where students and faculty can thrive.

The appointment reinforces EQUSaT’s commitment to SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, and SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions .
