Weβre thrilled to celebrate the launch of OctoStudio in Uganda!
This milestone was made possible by our longtime collaborator, Prince Solomon Bwire, whose vision and commitment to expanding creative learning opportunities shaped the development of the app and its introduction to his community.
In a 2020 call, Solomon shared how he was helping people in his community who had lost jobs due to the pandemic by teaching them to code. He emphasized the need for a creative coding tool on mobile devices. Every step of the way, Solomon, along with our global network of partners, helped develop OctoStudio into the platform it is today.
Many thanks to Dr. Barugahara Balaam Ateenyi, Makerere Innovation Society, and Creative Child Foundation for supporting this launch.

The projects they care about today are the innovations that will shape our tomorrow. A heartfelt gratitude to our sponsors Google, Irish Aid , Grow with Google Africa, Guillaume Sekko, Bernard Kirk, Camden.education for enabling a great number of learners and teachers benefit from this lifechanging program.
