At Maarifasasa, we believe deeply in equipping young people not just with skills, but with the confidence and platforms to solve meaningful problems in their communities. Aurora Humanitarian Initiative UWC

Join us as students compete for a $10,000 grant. Less than 24 hours until we’re live!

During the event, three UWC student teams will present to a live panel to secure funding for their humanitarian projects.

🤝 The LINK Project (UWC South East Asia, East Campus): Empowering migrant workers in Singapore with practical English literacy through in-person workshops and a personalised digital platform.

💧 Majiliko Project (UWC East Africa): Expanding access to clean and safe water through sustainable biosand filtration systems.

🫶 Nira Project (UWC South East Asia, Dover Campus): Normalising open, compassionate conversations on menstrual health through game-based learning and community engagement.

The event will be presented by a panel of humanitarian leaders:

🌟 Tionge Mtambo, early marriage survivor and activist.
