We are happy share our 2024 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) Results as released today by the Uganda National Examination Board. This is an incredible results with increased performance since obtaining examination hosting/sitting center two years ago. Congratulations to all our candidates and staff.

Support Nissi High School in Lira, Uganda: We're working hard to improve the quality of education at Nissi High School, but we need your help! We're seeking support for key projects that will make a big difference for our students and staff. Can you connect us with organizations or clubs in your Rotary district who may be interested in supporting us?

Here are our current needs:

Water Supply – Solar-powered borehole to ensure a sustainable and reliable water source.

Beds for Students – Basic bedding for our dormitory students to ensure their comfort and well-being.

Computer Laboratory – To equip our students with the digital skills necessary for their future success.

School Library – A well-stocked library to foster a love of reading and improve student literacy.

Science Laboratory: For chemistry, biology, physics practical teaching and experiments

School Sick Bay – A space to attend to students' health needs on campus.

Alternative Power – A generator or solar power system to ensure uninterrupted learning.

Orphan Sponsorship – Many of our students are orphans, and we seek sponsorship to provide for their education and welfare.

Sanitary (Toilets) Facilities – Improved sanitation facilities to promote health and hygiene among our students.

Nissi High School, Lira students on last Saturday were involved in cleaning an unprotected water spring where we draw water for use at school which is often contaminated. This is a big challenge we are facing in our community, students have to walk about a 1km to fetch this water risking them with snakes and the girls' security while trying to access water at the community water point.

Your financial support can help save the students by sinking a motorized borehole to provide clean and safe water at the school.
