Lira Medical Laboratory Training School, (LMLTS) is a profit making, tertiary training institution. It achieved recognition by Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC) of Uganda, Ministry of Education and Sports (MOES) through the Business, Technical, Vocational Education and Training department (BTVET) in 2005 and was later allocated an examination centre number by Uganda Allied Examinations Boa

rd (UAHEB). It serves the purpose of providing Ordinary and Advanced Level Leavers with a chance to acquire knowledge, skills, competences and positive attitudes towards a 2-year beginning career course in medical laboratory training leading to the award of Certificate in Laboratory Techniques (CLT) by UAHEB. is located on Adol Polino road, Railways Division, Lira District, Uganda. Its principal activities are training of students in laboratory techniques and provision of low-cost but high quality clinical and laboratory services to the community.
