Umucyo ART classes are still in progress and going well.

We’re creating, learning, and healing together while keeping safety first.
As Ebola prevention is key, we’re following all health guidelines: handwashing, sanitizing, and keeping our spaces clean so our young artists can keep expressing themselves safely.

We closed this week with a special time of art therapy, healing, and prayer.

Through drawing, painting, and sharing, our young artists expressed what’s in their hearts, found space to breathe, and supported one another. We ended the week by praying together for strength, peace, and new possibilities in the week ahead.

Our arts classes at Umucyo ART are continuing well, and we are excited to see children and adolescents girls, actively learning, creating, and expressing themselves every day.

We are grateful to share that these activities are being FUNDED BY CARE FOR REFUGEES, their support is helping children access arts materials, sustain our daily sessions, and receive meals during classes.

This partnership continues to bring hope, creativity, and opportunity to the students we serve.

Umucyo ART is pleased to announce that Care for Refugees has resumed its partnership with Umucyo ART. We're happy for this collaboration and excited to see our activities continue well and improved.
Care for Refugees will be supporting us financially to help children purchase arts materials to sustain our daily session and to provide meals for children during sessions.
