Dear Stakeholder!

Season's greetings.

As we reflect on the past years and the new year 2022, I would like to convey my sincere appreciations and thanks as well as the sense of pride I feel toward Bwera School of Nursing and Midwifery (BSNM). It is barely 6 years since BSNM came into existence and we are so proud of tremendous achievements of the school.

Despite the many challenges and hurdles tossed our way by COVID-19, we have made great strides in our work particularly in maintaining academic excellence and discipline of our students. We witnessed progress in our school estates development. Our students continue to lead on many fronts to shape the nursing and midwifery profession in the country including through provision of patient-centered care to the hard-to-reach and hard-to-stay communities in the Rwenzori sub-region and beyond.

A big thank you to our dedicated team of staff for the excellent work. You are an awesome team! Also, I thank our key stakeholders especially the parents, government and other partners for the continuous support that ignites us to towards our vision and mission – a healthy community and people-centred care.

Registration for 2022 is ongoing and we welcome the eligible students to join our competitive school programmes.

Looking forward to building on the solid plans laid out this year.

Dear BSNM Nurses/Midwives,

Join me and the rest of the world to pay tribute to you all on this special occasion that is celebrated globally.

The Board of Directors BSNM can't thank you enough for your hardwork and courage through the daily hurdles and challenges that humanity is currently facing.

In particular, we feel the pain with our nurses and midwives who have lost their property during the recent floods in Kilembe and Kasese and pray that God provides for their spiritual and physical needs at this critical moment.
