As the sun sets over the hills of Kasese, the children of Junior Humanist Nursery and Primary School are filled with excitement. It’s Thanksgiving, and they’ve been dreaming of a special celebration—not just a meal, but a reminder that they are loved.

With no government support, our small school relies on the generosity of friends like you. This year, we’re reaching out with a big ask: help us bring joy to 120 orphans who’ve shown us resilience and hope in every step.

Last week, we had a simple feast of matooke and beans, and the smiles were endless. One little one, Esther, hugged me tight and whispered, "Auntie, is this what Thanksgiving feels like?" In that moment, we knew: every contribution makes a difference.

This Thanksgiving, let’s make it a season of sharing. Whether it’s a book, a meal, or a kind word, your gift will write a brighter chapter for these kids. Join us in spreading love, hope, and a full plate! ❤️🎁

Orphan School Report.
Our orphan school was established in February 2023 with the primary objective of providing education and support to less fortunate children, including orphans. Despite the challenges posed by corruption and limited resources, we are determined to make a positive impact on the lives of these children.

*Objectives*
- Provide access to quality education for orphaned and vulnerable children
- Offer basic necessities such as food, clothing, and shelter
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow and develop

*Challenges*
- Insufficient funding to support the school's operations and infrastructure needs
- Limited resources, including inadequate classrooms and office space
- Difficulty in accessing government support due to bureaucratic processes and corruption

*Current Status*
- The school has made significant progress in providing education and support to orphaned and vulnerable children
- We have received support from well-wishers, which has enabled us to provide basic necessities to the children
- However, we still face significant challenges in terms of infrastructure and funding

*Request for Support*
We are urgently seeking support to build two permanent classrooms and an office, which will enable us to provide a safe and conducive learning environment for the children. The estimated cost for the construction of the classrooms and office is $4,000, broken down as follows ¹:
- Two classrooms: $3,000 ($1,500 per classroom)
- Office: $1,000
