CONDOLENCE MESSAGE

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, the fraternity and Kyambogo University community upon the tragic passing of Ian Cheywa, a devoted student leader who sadly succumbed to injuries from a motorbike accident while receiving treatment at Mulago National Referral Hospital yesterday.

Ian was not only a committed leader but also a proud and active member of SESKA, where he served with passion, integrity, and an unwavering dedication to the welfare of his fellow students. His voice, courage, and leadership spirit made a lasting impact on the association and the wider university community. SESKA has truly lost one of its brightest, most inspiring pillars.

As we mourn this painful loss, we pray that God grants comfort, strength, and peace to his family, the SESKA leadership, his colleagues, and all students who were touched by his life. May the legacy he leaves behind continue to guide and inspire SESKA and Kyambogo University for years to come.

Today, together with family and friends, we paid our last respects to our friend, brother, and fellow student leader, Machecho Remos Mike, in Kween District.

Remos was an alumnus of Kyambogo University and a devoted student leader. He served as a SESKA Speaker and as the association’s goalkeeper, a role he embraced with passion for football, A jovial and easy-to-go-with person who created friendships effortlessly and always made his presence felt through his laughter and jokes.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the alumni and fellow students who gathered to honor him and give him a befitting send-off.

He ran a good race, kept the faith and today at 4am, he left us after battling with serious injuries in an accident that occurred on 27th Jan. He was once an active student of kyambogo university Condolences to the family, neighbours, friends etc RIP JOB😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
