Gregory Pokorny, the representative from Alexander College paid us a courtesy visit at our offices today.

He expressed gratitude for the partnership with Global Study, which has facilitated numerous student enrollments at Alexander College in Canada from Uganda and Burundi.

He elaborated on the admission requirements for students aiming to study in Canada & explained that many students enroll at Alexander College first before transferring to larger universities because direct entry to these universities is highly competitive.

Mr. Pokorny also discussed recent government changes regarding the Post-Graduate Work Permit (PGWP), noting that their Associate degree now qualifies for PGWP eligibility.

Global Study Uganda (GSU) held a meeting with representatives from Centennial College, led by Julius Edward Kanyamunyu, the Regional Manager for Africa & Middle East, alongside Caner Okutan, the Sub-Regional Manager for Africa and the Middle East.

The meeting focused on strengthening academic partnerships, exploring collaborative opportunities, and enhancing student exchange programs between GSU and Centennial College.

Discussions also included strategies for increasing student mobility between the institutions.
