Yesterday we had a wonderful Christmas party and thanks to our sponsors and donors we fed around 350 children, including some young visitors from the village who could not miss the celebration. It was a wonderful party for all the children with a lot of dancing and a talent show.
Find out how you can join our family at www.ugandadreamschool.org.
Christmas is on its way, and again this year we'd like to provide a special meal for the children. Food is currently scarce and expensive in Uganda and in addition to food there is a need for medicine for the children to keep them healthy.
Our wonderful Angel Donor has offered to match all of our donations up to $5,000. In effect this will double anything you are able to give, and your gift will help the children long beyond Christmas.
For information on how you can give, go to: https://www.ugandadreamschool.org/how-to-transmit-funds/
Whatever you are able to share, it will probably be the greatest gift you give this holiday season. Thank you and LOVE from all of us. 🎄❤🌍❤🌍❤🎄

To our dear sponsors and friends, today I received this message from our school manager Katongole Ronald:
"Greetings to you from Uganda. Life has been very busy. The prices of gas here in Uganda is making life really hard, I know it is a global issue, it has made the cost of food to double. It is really hard to get the food . We managed to get some cassava from our garden, but it is all finished, it is a hard time for many communities."
This is indeed a difficult time for everyone, but the need is magnified for orphans in Uganda who are already living in poverty. If you have previously been a sponsor, or if you are someone who simply wants to help, the children need you now.
Go to https://www.ugandadreamschool.org/donate/ to see how to safely send money directly to our school manager Ron online.
Please help if you are able, and share this post with friends. Thank You and Love from Uganda Dream Nursery and Primary School!! ❤️🌍❤️🌍❤️
Wonderful news for our sponsors who use WorldRemit or SendWave to send support! We have noticed that they are no longer charging a fee to send money if you are using a debit card. If you haven't used one of these methods and would like to know how, check the "Donate" page on the Dream Nursery and Primary School website: https://www.ugandadreamschool.org/donate/.
We love our sponsors and are incredibly grateful for their generosity that helps the children to learn and thrive. Very soon we will be posting updated photos of all the children who are sponsored as well as those who are waiting for sponsorship. Your love and generosity continues to make a world of difference in the lives of these children. 💖🌍💖
Hello wonderful sponsors and friends!
As we enjoy our warming spring days, Uganda is in the planting season. Food for our children is scarce right now, and it will be until harvest time. There is also a desperate need to repair broken doors on the toilets so that personal privacy is respected, and to buy some more chairs and desks for our learners.
If you know anyone who would be able to help with the costs of food for the children, or repairs and desks, please share this with post with them. Even a little bit goes a long way, and will be appreciated beyond measure.
Thank you and love from All of Us💖💖💖 www.ugandadreamschool.org/donate
Dream Nursery and Primary School - Donate Dream Nursery and Primary School is a free school for Pre-K through 6th grade serving AIDS orphans, children of prisoners, and other disadvantaged children in the Kasenge area of Uganda, East Africa.
Hello to our wonderful sponsors and friends! Ron has shared with me that there has been an outbreak of stomach illness among the children at the school, and our school doctor has recommended that all the children be treated with deworming medicine to control the outbreak and prevent it from becoming worse.
If you know anyone on this St. Valentine's Day who would like to help with the costs of the medicine for the children, please share this with post with them.
Thank you and love from All of Us💖💖💖 www.ugandadreamschool.org/donate

Our Story
There is no public school system in Uganda. Dream Nursery and Primary School is currently a free day school for 325 AIDS orphans, children of prisoners, and other disadvantaged children in the Kasenge area of Uganda who cannot afford school fees.
Now that our dormitories are complete, it is also a free boarding school for various children in dire need, adding victims of domestic violence to the above as we give them a safe haven to learn, be healthy, and grow.
Local council officials avail us with information about the children before they are admitted at our school/sponsorship program.
Most need sponsorship for food, clothing, scholastic materials, and to help pay our electric bill, licensing fees, and teachers.
$20 U.S. per month, ($240 per year), plus $7.99 in MoneyGram sending fees, (each time or once for yearly payments, making an annual donation far more cost effective), can make an incredible difference in the life of child who has nothing. You will pay simply by using your local MoneyGram kiosk, or via the MoneyGram website to send your sponsorship funds directly to Ron in Uganda.
Child sponsors are availed with periodic photos showing their child's development. Sponsors may communicate with their sponsored children via email or Facebook Messenger to our school manager, Ronald Katongole.
Sponsors love seeing their sponsored child (or children) making progress in life.
The journey of our school being built began on February 2, 2008, through school Co-Founder and Former Director Kathy Ozzard Chism, and her U.S. nonprofit Dream One World.
After many years of building classrooms, lavatories, a kitchen, a teacher's house, the structure for an orphanage on site, digging a water well that the entire community now uses, and even planting an organic garden, in late December of 2015, it became impossible for that small, loving nonprofit to send funds to Uganda due to changing international monetary laws.
Now we depend simply on the kindness of individuals who use Facebook to work directly with us to keep our children fed and in school.
To get started with a sponsorship of one of our beautiful children, please choose one here: https://www.facebook.com/pg/UgandaDreamSchoolSponsorship/photos/?tab=album&album_id=468264636945256
Then please send a friend request to Ron via Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/katongole.ronald.56 (Last names are mentioned first in Uganda, so you will see his page as “Katongole Ronald.”)
Please look at all the photos of our wonderful children in need, choose one or more, contact Ron, and change a deserving child’s life.
We thank you deeply for your interest, financial help, and love for our children in need.
