As we head into the ISSAK Basketball season at the Senior School, we want to take a moment to celebrate one of our own.

Jordan, at such a young age, is already representing Uganda at the U16 level, a remarkable achievement. His recent performance at the FIBA AfroBasket tournament in Rwanda reflects not only his talent, but also his discipline, confidence, and commitment to the game.

We are proud of you, Jordan, and grateful to God for the gifts He has placed in you. We look forward to watching you continue to grow, on and off the court.

Well done.

As we step into a new year, we carry with us many memories from the past one, each a reminder of God’s grace and faithfulness along the way.

We are grateful for all He has done and we look ahead with hope, trusting in His provision for what’s to come.

Happy new year!

Our final days of school have had a bit of everything and we may still be missing a few photos as some make their way to the admin. From Mt. Kadam climbing, cycling, baking, survival retreat, and bridge building, to class parties, Carols Chapel, and a staff Christmas lunch, it has been a full and memorable close to the semester.

We’re grateful for all that God has enabled us to accomplish together and look ahead with hope.

Wishing you a restful and refreshing Christmas break.

A Miracle in Town

Our Early Years saved the best for last with their A Miracle in Town Christmas production.

What is usually a place of sand pits and wood chips was beautifully transformed into Bethlehem complete with a choir, a manger, angels, sheep, camels, wise men, and, of course, an eager and joyful audience of parents.

With Christmas coming in threes at Acacia, this marks our final Christmas production before we head home for a much-needed break.

Well done to our Early Years team for turning an ordinary Tuesday morning into something truly special, a little miracle in town.

Congratulations to our Grade 6 students who brought us together earlier today for the Compassion Course 2025, a run shaped by purpose; supporting Sanyu Babies Home and tree planting at our future home, the Lakeside Campus.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who braved the morning weather and showed up with willing hearts to an event that we trust will become a cherished tradition in the years to come.

Quietly lining the running trail were the now complete foundation footings and ring beams, waiting patiently for their moment to be set into the ground. A gentle but powerful reminder that something lasting is being prepared, step by step, in due time.

We look ahead with gratitude and hope: to more runs, to more moments of shared purpose, and to a new home, a campus rooted and built up in Christ.

Earlier tonight, our Junior School lit up the stage with Out of Darkness a Christmas production that truly had it all.

If we needed a reminder that the Christmas season is here, this was it.

A heartfelt well-done to our young performers, to the staff who poured so much into making this happen once again, and to the parents whose presence always makes these moments even more special.

And at the heart of it all, the message rang clear: beyond the decorations, the gifts, the meals, and the festivities… Christmas is about the GIFT from God.

Next up, our Early Years take the stage with A Miracle in Town.

The Acacia Compassion Course is a beautiful initiative led by our Grade 6 class; young students with hearts far bigger than their years. Their passion to make a difference is inspiring, and we’re excited to stand with them.

Join us this Saturday at 9 AM for a meaningful run at our Lakeside campus in Kigo, supporting both Nsambya Babies Home and the environment. Every step you take helps fuel their cause and encourages these young changemakers.

We’d love to see you there.

"I have two daughters, who have graduated from Acacia. What stands out most is that the school gave them a place where they felt safe, supported, and inspired to become their best selves. Not only did they graduate with excellent academic results, but they also gained confidence, strong values, and a clear sense of who they are.

There were countless moments when teachers made a lasting impact on our family; celebrating achievements, mentoring through difficult decisions, offering encouragement and extra guidance, and helping my daughters express their talents. These experiences showed us that Acacia is not just a school; it is a community that genuinely cares for everyone."

It’s Christmas at Acacia! 🎄✨

Last evening, our Senior School Christmas Production ushered us into the festive season with a beautiful blend of Middle School ensemble pieces, heartfelt skits, and a joyful collection of familiar carols retelling the Christmas story in a vibrant, uplifting way. Our Senior School Choir truly shone at their festive best.

A huge thank you to our incredible students and staff who poured their hearts into making the night special, and to our parents who showed up in such wonderful numbers. 💛

We’re also grateful to our gracious host and neighbour, St. Stephen’s Church Kisugu, for welcoming us and giving our community the opportunity to support the Kanyogoga Project under Touch Lives Ministry through the evening’s proceeds.

A big shout-out to our very own Sean W (G2), who will be representing Uganda at the 16th African Youth Chess Championship in Zimbabwe. As the youngest member on the team, Sean has shown such focus, maturity, and love for the game.

We’re really proud of him, and we wish him all the very best as he heads to Harare.
