At MOMO CENTRE FOR TALENT DEVELOPMENT we believe that raw talent can be harnessed &developed to requ Let us work with you to produce the right results.
MOMO Centre for Talent Development (MOCETAD) was founded on the philosophy that "learning by doing" combined with best industry practices is more valuable than years of theoretical study. The Learning by Doing instructional model allows participants to achieve more in less time than all other skills enhancement models in schools in the world. MOCETAD is also committed to the idea that the developm
ent of people’s strengths, interests, and talents, will ensure the emergence of well equipped people who will be to tackle problems of tomorrow’s world within and across all disciplines. To that end, we are dedicated to providing resources and services to enable participants to identify their talents and coordinate efforts to form interdisciplinary talent groups where each individual can contribute their expertise in solving problems creatively and to developing new ideas. At MOCETAD we believe that society is only as good and as strong as its people and that a people’s talent is a communal treasure. We must therefore understand and nurture the development of this treasure. MOCETAD also believes that success begins with the individual. Therefore we strive to invest time and research into individuals’ talents for career development. We believe in motivating both today’s and tomorrow’s young people to be “the best they can be” in order to contribute to society in a positive way. Research has shown that people develop self-esteem when they develop talent. They build perceptions of competence as they accomplish something productive in the world. Research has also proven that, when nurtured, talents foster motivation and achievement. MOCETAD is an important cradle for fostering participants in harnessing talents into careers and professions in order to face the challenges of managing in a diverse setting. MOCETAD strives to help participants identify their innate ability and natural endowments in order to adapt to development needs effectively by providing exceptional programs with the aim of developing basic competencies and skills awareness. MOCETAD is more than a training organization; we aim at becoming a trustworthy partner for participants to meet the challenges of requisite skills. Instruction is process-oriented and designed with proven research results managed by professional trainers and facilitators who design and impart skills. MOCETAD also invites experienced masters to share their insights of talent development. TALENT DEVELOPMENT
Talents are naturally recurring patterns of thought, feeling, or behavior. They are compliments to one’s life and reflect and bring out hidden resources from within and greatly influence the human’s creative domain. Developed talents help individuals make much better use of their time and make them happier, more effective, and more successful. Hence developed talents enhance a sense of well being and can easily lead to self fulfillment and actualisation. Whereas most people believe that their greatest improvement will come from overcoming their weaknesses, the greatest improvement comes from identifying natural talents and strengthening them. However, to develop the natural talents into strengths requires knowledge and skills through a creative combination of expertise in education and practice to create a unique learning experience. At MOCETAD, understanding and facilitating talent development is viewed broadly. It includes considerations as motivation and emotion, learning and development, the influences of significant individuals (family, coaches, teachers, peers), and the sociology involved in establishing talent domains. The centre helps participants to understand how to distinguish natural talents from things that can be learned, to develop a system to identify participants’ dominant talents and to develop a common language to describe participants’ talents.
