It is an institution that was formed in 2019 as a result of a merger between the Management and Accountancy Training Company limited (MAT) incorporated in 1999 and Abacus Business School (ABS) incorporated in 2015. Both institutions had established niches in Business education and were led by individuals synonymous with tertiary business education in the academic and professional spheres. MAT ABACUS Business School is headed by the Country Team Leader, and CEO, Prof. Samuel Sejjaaka a Ugandan national and leading academic, professional accountant, auditor and Board Director with a wealth of experience spanning over 30 years.
