Dear Staff, Parents, Learners and Members of the Hillside Schools Community,

Following the passing of our Principal, Dr. Okia Henry Stanley (PhD), we wish to inform you that there will be a vigil today, Thursday, 20th August 2026, at Hillside Schools – Naalya, beginning at 6:00 p.m.

We invite members of the school community to join us as we come together in prayer, reflection and solidarity with the bereaved family during this difficult time.

Further information regarding subsequent arrangements will be communicated through the official school channels.

Today we have lost a giant. With deep sorrow, the Hillside Schools Naalya community announces the passing of our Principal, Dr. Okia Henry Stanley, who has gone to be with the Lord. Dr. Okia was a visionary leader, mentor and father to many. He led with heart, served with excellence and inspired generations.

His legacy will live on in every student, teacher and wall of Hillside. We thank God for his life and service. May his soul rest in eternal peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and with all of us in the Hillside family during this difficult time. Rest in Peace, Dr. Okia Henry Stanley
