Quiet classes, busy minds and a determination to excel. This is how champions prepare. We wish all our learners a beautiful week and success as they get ready to shine.

Back to business at Hillside. The noise of reporting back is gone, the excitement of reunion has settled, and now it's all about the books. Step into any classroom and you will find them — active and already learning and consuming knowledge. Our learners have switched from holiday mode to class mode.

Smart in their uniforms, calm, focused and ready to finish the year strong. The teachers are teaching, the learners are learning, and the entire school is back to its beautiful rhythm. Term 3 is fully underway. The journey to the finish line has started.

Friday morning started on the pitch at Green Point Park, where Hillside Soccer Academy got straight into training and warm-ups inside the home of Cape Town Spurs FC, and connecting with the football community at Legends Soccer School

New surroundings, fresh energy and another opportunity to sharpen up as the Cape Town experience continues. The city is beautiful. But we came to work. 🔥⚽

A NEW TERM AWAITS US. The holiday has been great, but it's time for a new chapter. We at Hill Side are excited to receive our learners back with love and happiness. Our boarding section reports on Sunday, 13th September and the Day section on Monday, 14th September 2026. As we saw last term on the reporting day, smiling faces, ready hearts, bags packed for success and parents escorting their little ones back to school.

We look forward to seeing that happen again on the reporting day mixed with even greater moments this term. Parents, let's prepare our children for a wonderful term ahead!

: The excitement was unmistakable as the first team of our Cape Town delegation arrived at Entebbe International Airport, ready to begin the journey to South Africa. With everyone checked in, prepared and ready to go, the reality of the trip finally began to sink in. Leading the first team is our Head of Co-Curricular Activities, Mr. Mukasa Edward, who is accompanying group one this first leg of the journey as they make their way to Cape Town.

But the journey doesn't end with this first departure. Tomorrow, the second team will take to the skies, led by our Headteacher, Mr. Ashaba Godfrey, as they make their way to South Africa to join the delegation. Two teams. One destination. One Hillside experience. Cape Town, we’re coming!

AND JUST LIKE THAT… WE'VE LANDED... WE’RE IN SOUTH AFRICA! 🇿🇦 Checked in at Entebbe International Airport, boarded Ethiopian Airlines, and made our way through Addis Ababa before taking the final flight to South Africa. For now, No more countdowns. No more “almost there.” WE HAVE LANDED!

And Cape Town welcomed us with rain. We’re taking that as a blessing over the tournament, the journey and everything ahead. South Africa, we’re in your area. MZANTSI AFRIKA, SIKULENDLELA! 🇿🇦 !
