A Day of Songs, Smiles and Surprises at St Lawrence. Throwback to the day our Nursery section received a very special visitor. They came, they sang and brightened up the whole class mood. Our little learners didn’t just listen, they learned new songs, new moves and so much joy.

Looking back now, I’m sure those songs have made their way home this holiday 😄 St Lawrence children don’t keep good things to themselves. Thank you to our special visitor for filling our classrooms with music and laughter that day. To our Nursery stars: You sang, you shined and we’re still smiling about it

Throwback to when these seats were full. Photos of our St. Lawrence learners in class remind us of the noise, the laughter, the questions and the energy that makes our school come alive. Right now the classrooms feel a little too quiet. The chalkboards are waiting. The desks are waiting.

We miss you, St.Lawrence stars. As you enjoy your holidays, know that we’re counting down the days until we hear your voices again and continue the learning journey together. Stay safe, rest well, and keep shining. We can’t wait to have you back.

Closing the term with love. Seeing our Director pose for one last photo with his learners says it all. Goodbyes are never easy, but they’re sweeter when you know you’ll meet again. Watch our Director with our learners, not just as a leader, but as a father figure sending his children home.

Smiles, high fives, words of encouragement and promises to return even wiser next term. This term wasn’t just about books. It was about character, discipline, laughter in the corridors and growth in every classroom. Now it’s time to go home, rest and come back ready for the next chapter. Thank you Director, for leading with heart.

Giving that teaches. During the St. Lawrence Feast Day, our congregation gave back to God — not just with gifts, but with hearts. Our learners watched closely and picked lessons. They saw adults giving cheerfully, giving in faith and giving in gratitude. A lesson no textbook can teach.

"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." — 2 Corinthians 9:7. Thank you to our St Lawrence community for modeling generosity because when children see giving, they learn giving.

A term well lived and now it’s time to rest. St. Lawrence Schools officially breaks off for holidays today the 12th of August 2026. From the tiniest nursery hands to our biggest primary learners. What a term it has been. Friendships formed. Lessons learned. Talents discovered. Faith strengthened.

They came in eager, they are leaving with confidence, knowledgeand beautiful memories. They laughed, they played, they prayed, they grew. Another strong foundation laid, one brick at a time. To our dear parents: Thank you for entrusting us with your greatest treasures

Beyond the classroom. Into real life. Our St. Lawrence learners and teachers stepped out of textbooks and into life-changing skills. With the Rotary Club of Masindi, they were trained to make liquid soap and reusable menstrual pads for better hygiene and household income.

Imagine: A girl never missing school because of menstration and a teacher training a whole community. This is the St. Lawrence way. We prepare learners not just for exams, but for life with knowledge, dignity and opportunity. Thank you Rotary Club of Masindi for investing in our future.

A day of faith, celebrations and joy. Yesterday at the Saint Lawrence Feast Day celebrations, our school came alive with praise, color and rhythm. But the highlight? Our learners. They welcomed and entertained our guests with beautiful dances and songs that touched every heart in the audience. From traditional moves to uplifting choir pieces.

The learners showed talent, confidence and the spirit of Saint Lawrence. At St Lawrence, we believe education goes beyond the classroom. We nurture talent, faith and character, raising learners who can lead, serve and shine. To our dear guests and parents who joined us, thank you for celebrating with us.

Faith. Family. Joy. Today, the St. Lawrence community came together — learners, parents and staff — to celebrate the Feast Day of St. Lawrence. A day filled with praise, smiles, and gratitude. A day where we lived out our values: Service. Courage. Compassion. From Mass led by Rev. Fr. Kidda Morris to fellowship and laughter, we saw what it truly means to be St. Lawrence. Learners singing, Parents smiling and Staff serving. All united in gratitude.

At St. Lawrence Schools, we don’t just educate minds. We nurture faith, build family and grow together. This is St. Lawrence. This is home.

Silence in the room. Strength in every answer. End of term exams are underway at St. Lawrence Schools. Watch our learners. Focused. Determined. Giving their best, one question at a time. No shortcuts here — just the result of weeks of lessons, practice and dedication. Behind every paper is growth. Behind every effort is character. This is where knowledge meets discipline.

At St. Lawrence, we prepare learners beyond the exam hall. We nurture critical minds, resilient hearts and future leaders. Because true education isn’t just about grades — it’s about life. This is how we shape learners who are ready for the world. Parents, this is the kind of excellence your child deserves.
