Information for Freshers 2026/2027

1. Students admitted on government sponsorship should pick their admission letters from respective colleges.
2. Provisional admission letters for self sponsored students can be downloaded
from the students' application portal (https://apply.mak.ac.ug) as follows,
a) Login to the application portal using your email address/telephone number
and password used at application.
b) Click admission status/history.
c) Click download provisional admission letter.
3. Schedule of semester one, 2026/2027 academic year
a) Saturday 1st August, 2026 to Friday 7th August, 2026 (7 days) -Orientation
Week.
b) Monday 3rd August, 2026 - Central orientation programme at the freedom
square starting at 9:00am.
c) Tuesday 4th 2026 to Friday 7th August, 2026-college/school orientation
programmes.
4. The Freshers Joining Instructions can be viewed from this link
5. Lectures will begin on Monday lOth August 2026.
6. Registration must be done within the first two weeks from the beginning of the semester

Admission letters for Government sponsored students should be picked from the respective Colleges/Schools beginning Monday 6th July 2026.
The change of programme /subjects will be done online from 3rd August, 2026 to 14th August, 2026.
