The 75th Graduation of Makerere University concluded with a celebration of Vice Chancellor Professor Barnabas Nawangwe’s birthday—17th January.

Several members of staff and organisations participated, including the Makerere University Convocation, staff in the Vice Chancellor’s office and individual messages from across the nation. Professor Nawangwe’s family presented a bouquet at today’s commencement.

Candidates for the position of Principal at the College of Health Sciences have delivered public presentations, outlining their plans for the college in detail. Makerere University College of Health Sciences, the region’s pioneering medical school, celebrates 100 years since its establishment this year.

The candidates are:

3. Professor Damalie Nakanjako
4. Associate Professor Joseph Ochieng
