We are thrilled to announce that Ndiwalana Alvin Elijah participated in the just concluded East African Mathematics Olympiad (EAMO) and secured the fourth position overall in the East African region and emerged as the top contestant from Uganda in the junior category. His remarkable performance not only brings pride to our school but also earned him a well-deserved cash award of $200.

Furthermore, this exceptional performance has earned him qualification for the Pan African Mathematics Olympiad, scheduled to take place in South African at the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, from August 10th to 20th, 2024.

Light Academy was well represented at the recently concluded World Scholars Cup 2024 ( Kampala Round) . The boys commanded and dominated every aspect of the event, bringing home 10 major trophies and over 500 gold and silver medals.

Light Academy s.s is currently participating in the Uganda Secondary School Sports Association Tournament. So far it has a win from the first game. We wish them success.

Out of the 10 boys of Light Academy s.s that participated in the National Mathemania Puzzle Contest at GISU. 5 of them emerged among the top from both categories (Senior and Pre-Senior) hence winning cash prizes to a total of Ugx 600,000 alongside gift hampers and Degree certificates.
