The Principal, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, cordially invite you to Prof. Phillip Kasaija Apuuli's Inaugural Professorial Lecture on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 2:00 pm in the Makerere University Main Hall. Prof. Kasaija is a renowned political science scholar who is a member of staff in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, in the School of Social Sciences at the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, Makerere University
Prof. Kasaija's lecture, titled " Reflecting on the 2023 African Peace Mission to Ukraine and Russia," is a significant academic event, especially as Makerere University positions itself as a research led/intensive global university. It will enable him to showcase his scholarly contribution and research achievements to the university community and the public.
