Makerere University Business School (MUBS) Jinja Campus supported the 4th Annual Spinal Marathon that was organized in Iganga district. The marathon was organized by Centre for Spinal Injuries Advocacy (CESIA) on December 04, 2022, under the Theme: "Running for Spinal Injuries Rehabilitation Centre". MUBS-Jinja Campus was the main sponsors of the event.

Centre for Spinal Injuries Advocacy in partnership with other charities have organized a marathon labelled aimed at raising funds to establish a Rehabilitation centre for spinal cord injured patients, the marathon will take place on December 04, 2022.
The rehabilitation centre will provide specialized multidisciplinary services, trained personnel and equipment to persons living with spinal cord injuries in Iganga, Busoga, Eastern Region and Uganda as a whole.
