It's now Official! The Gulu University Anti-Sexual Harrassment policy has been launched by the Chairperson Council of Gulu University, Mr. Onono Moses in presence of members from the Makerere University Gender Mainstreaming Directorate , UN Women Uganda and Gender Mainstreaming Gulu University.

The launch of the Anti Sexual Harassment Policy of Gulu University was graced with Members of Gulu University Council, Members of Top Management UN Women Uganda and Gender Mainstreaming Directorate, Makerere University.

Prof. Alum Catherine ~ "We need to invest in building capacities of people who will spearhead the implementation of this Policy."

Our Director, Dr. Euzobia Mugisha Baine giving an address during the launch of the Anti-Sexual Harrassment policy of Gulu University .
She encourages us to be the face of this policy for effective implementation.

She went ahead to emphasize the aims of the policy but not limited to:
a) Zero tolerance to social sexual harassment.
b) Increasing reporting and timely disposal of SH complaints.
c) Promoting sexual reproductive health rights.

The count down is over! Today is the official launch of the Gulu University Anti-Sexual Harassment policy.
It will take place at the New Library Building in Gulu University from 9:00am.
