As the world increasingly becomes a global village, the demands on education outcomes have also become more universal. The skills and competences that any education system proffers on its products must be of quality that meets international standards and needs. Must also be dynamic enough to exploit scientific and technological advances to make use of employment, business and other opportunities that presents around the world.

Innovative approaches and tools must be used to create an educational paradigm that is responsive, needs based, effective and efficient.

A good example of such adaptive education is the Indian model, which has been able to tap into the enormous potential offered by ICT to access employment for millions of its citizens in outsourcing service industry.

Collective responsibility and concerted action is required.
