Good morning brethren
Have you ever taken time to go through the Epistle of James if not find time and read this Epistle.
James emphasises to he essence of practical Christianity as our Lord did emphasise in Mathew 5 on the sermon on the mount.
Matthew 5:16
[16]Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Our problem is not the word we hear but our works.
There are men that don't read the Bible but will read your life. That's why here as Letters to God we have our lead scripture of 2 Corinthians 3:2
[2]Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:
The only book that didn't find it's way in the Bible is you. Men read your life so make sure that what they read from you glorifies God.

Any believer should ask for a discerning spirit that can differentiate the many voices that speak to them. Ability to differentiate the voice of God from the many voices is key in helping you listen to HIM. If you listen to another voice you end up doing what that voice tells you.
