✨ Looking back on our pre-departure orientation day for Uganda's first five ALVE language assistants! 🇺🇬🇫🇷

This year marks an important milestone with the launch of the ALVE programme, implemented by France Éducation international (FEI), in Uganda.

In October, five students from Makerere University and Kyambogo University will travel to France for a seven-month placement as English language assistants in French primary and secondary schools.

📍 They will be hosted in schools in Richelieu, Oloron-Sainte-Marie, Varzy, Montélimar, and Boulogne-sur-Mer, where they will share their language and culture while discovering the French education system. For most of them, this will be their first professional experience abroad and, above all, an extraordinary human and intercultural adventure.

👏 This achievement also reflects the dedication of their French language teachers, whose commitment, guidance, and encouragement have been instrumental throughout their journey. Thanks to their support, these students have strengthened their French language skills and turned their passion for French into a unique international opportunity.

We wish them all the very best as they prepare for this exciting new chapter. May they enjoy a rewarding experience in France and make the most of every opportunity that lies ahead. 🇫🇷✨
