Rock Community School

Rock Community School Rock Community School provides an elementary education to 180 children living in the surrounding villages in the Buikwe District of Uganda.

Rock Community School is located in the south of Uganda. It was founded in 2009, as a part of Rock Community Schools -Uganda, a project of The Rock World Foundation Ministries. In the Buikwe district, a multi-ethnic community with a population of about 78050 where 57% are minors (under 18 years old), RCS provides an elementary education to 180 children living in the surrounding villages. This smal

l school, with its 12 teachers and limited resources provides hope, care, and a sense of belonging in a safe community environment.

We're grateful for Teach A Man to Fish for the prize we won in SEC 2013. Its been a long way waiting, but finally warming our fingers for a touch. You guys are great in furthering education that pays itself! Thank you so much! How I wish that Ugandan schools, especially those from rural areas participate in this gigantic opportunity to become sustainable and self sufficient.
