The partnership between the Irish government and Munster Technological University to launch the REEdI (Rethinking Engineering Education in Ireland) program is setting a new standard for industry-backed education.
Last week, our team hosted Jason O'Grady, MTU's International Marketing Officer, to gain refreshment about Ireland and the university's programs.
Jason highlighted MTU's REEdI program, a government-funded initiative that features an integrated two-year corporate work placement to directly supply top engineering firms with essential talent.
Beyond engineering, massive corporate demand continues to grow for graduates in accounting, finance, and social care, making these highly strategic program choices for incoming students.
Furthermore, pursuing the Level 8 (four-year) degrees automatically qualifies graduates for at least a one-year stay-back visa. With dedicated MTU workshops to help students secure their Irish Residence Permit (IRP) within 90 days of arrival, students are given a seamless, supported transition into the European workforce.
