We've just completed analyzing the management of resources over the Mt. Elgon landscape funded by the AMONT project. What's clear is an increasing population that is putting immense pressure on land and will likely spiral poverty levels higher especially in the rural areas.

In one of the field studies conducted in Western Uganda and supported by the BREAD-SIDA project, our researchers found the water-shade turned into a recreation facility

Mt. Elgon region is one of the regions in Uganda prone to land/mud slides destroying property and lives. In bid to improve weather and climatic prediction over the region, we visited it under the support of BREAD-SIDA project to evaluate the adequacy of weather stations installations.
