The Nursing and Allied Professionals sub-section is pleased to invite you to join us for a webinar on Monday, 14 May from 13:00-14:00 (Paris time) regarding The Best Practice for The Care of Patients with Tuberculosis: A guide for low-income countries.
The Guide has been recently been updated and the second edition is now available. This popular guide provides detailed guidance for the care and support of people in healthcare settings who present with symptoms suggestive of TB and their subsequent care and support throughout treatment. The resource has been developed and updated by the International Council of Nurses (ICN), in collaboration with The Union and nurses working within a range of practice settings. The guidelines have the ability to be localized and adapted to a range of practice settings across global TB Programmes.
The webinar will be presented by Carrie Tudor, of ICN. Ms. Tudor will introduce you to the updated Guide, discuss a system of practice development to improve the quality of care offered and thereby improve local TB control effort, and review a selection of case studies on how the guide has been used in practice to address gaps in care and support to patients with TB.
You can register for the webinar at the following link: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/8324055478577520387
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
