Today's thought.

If you have been approved through the Ugandan system of education, it’s at such a time that focus is again drawn towards national exams in primary and secondary education. Learners may not be able to read this article, and so are their teachers, because of the relatively too much involvement in the exams. Therefore, this is typical for the attention of every parent in Uganda.

While final exams once seemed to be an unpleasant rite of passage for primary seven and high school students in Senior four and six, they are a common forms of assessment for almost every level of education, even at institutions of higher learning. With the rise of standardized testing in the attempt to make all schools equal, learners are required to complete an array of final exams during their thirteen years in school. Whereas many learners manage the stress of final exams through their own approaches and maneuvers, some students need a bit more sustenance. These exams can incite stress and text nervousness and spike student mood and behavior issues. If problematic behaviors or signs of anxiety arise, parents can easily intervene to help provide their son or daughter with positive encouragement and test preparation support.

End of year exams are passed by following a routine which rides towards every learner achieving that ultimate goal of being in School. Below are some of the insights that will overturn a bad report when results come back. Kindly, practically follow them below.

Create a study schedule: Encourage your child to create a study schedule that includes all the subjects they need to study and the amount of time they should spend on each subject.

Set realistic goals: Encourage your child to set realistic goals for each study session and help them break down larger goals into smaller, achievable ones.

Provide a quiet study environment: Ensure that your child has a quiet and comfortable study environment.
