Yesterday, Master Class Sign Language Initiative (MCSLI) was honored to welcome Hon. Ssewagudde Robert, Member of Parliament representing Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).

As a leader and a proud representative of PWDs, his visit to our class meant a lot. He met our hearing students who are learning sign language and encouraged them to continue promoting inclusion and equal communication for all.

His presence gives hope that together we can end communication barriers between Deaf and hearing communities in Uganda.

🤝 We look forward to working together to promote sign language, disability rights, and full inclusion for all persons with disabilities.

Last weekend, MCSLI instructors trained students on Negation in Positive and Negative Communication.

We will not give up until communication is inclusive for all, and Deaf people feel happy and safe.
