On Tuesday, 13th December 2022, all flights for the Horn of Africa Civil Society Forum (HoACSF) members (https://hoacsf.org/led to Entebbe Airport! Leaders of members of the HoACSF (from Ethiopia, Somalia, Eritrea, Sudan, South Sudan, Kenya and Djibouti flew to Uganda to attend the Civil Society Leadership training. This was facilitated by Richard Ale Sunday (The CEO for PACRE) and Mr. Joshua Byenkya (the CEO of Evaluation Partners). The training covered topics including; Understanding leadership, managing virtual teams, change management, organizational risks: how to assess and manage risk, performance management and appraisal, organisational staff motivation and communication, time management and its implications to leaders, decision making, building trust and respect, and mentorship/coaching to improve employee performance.

We are gonna deliver 2 Practical Modules-(i) Practical Monitoring and Reporting (ii) Practical Evaluation Design and Ex*****on from Start to Finish. At the end of the day you will be able to practically understand how to practically monitor and report on a project routinely including how to design an evaluation (design of evaluation framework, evaluation plan, data collection tools, analysis plan, pretesting tools and correcting them, data collection, data entry and analysis (using e.g SPSS)-at the end of it you will be able to practically write an evaluation report.
